We take the Pan-American Highway towards the city of Alajuela and the Agriculture Monument, the Monument to Juan Santamaria and the famous Mango Park. During the ascent to the volcano we stop for a brief explanation on our golden bean, coffee, and continue the journey through cultures of ferns, flowers and strawberries.

This becomes apparent when the change in temperature and varied vegetation, preparing us for the pleasures of the exuberant cloud forest of Poas Volcano. At the Volcano we will have time to observe the impressive main crater with its sulfur fumaroles. Then we will walk along the trail to the beautiful Botos Lagoon that will allow us to learn about the different ecosystems of the park. Continuing towards the Caribbean, stopping to discover the gardens of La Paz Waterfall, a natural park where we walk through spectacular trails that will lead us to Magia Blanca Falls (the largest and most spectacular of the area).

The park also visit the butterfly observatory and birds, besides the impressive hummingbird gallery, the aviary, the old house, a snake and frog pond. After the walk we will have a delicious lunch buffet and then begin the return to San José.
